What’s in it for you – the sport or business?
As a member business, this is an opportunity to reach an audience specific to girls! It demonstrates that you are committed to the success and wellness of our young female Winnipeggers. Your programs, events or activities can be promoted via our social media channels with a terrific and dedicated following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The media attention for the Fitness Journal for Girls in 2016 was incredible. We were featured in the Winnipeg Free Press, the Winnipeg Sun, CTV Morning Live, Global Morning Show live on location, Classic 107 Radio, CJOB with Dahlia Kurtz, CBC Manitoba Radio and Television, Rhythm 104.7, and CJOB with Kevin Burgin. We also received national coverage from Active For Life and international coverage with WiSP – the Global Women’s Sports Network.
We know that the Journal will only continue to grow in its popularity and want to ensure that all girls in Winnipeg have the chance to participate in sport.
How can you be a part of the Winnipeg Fitness Journal for Girls?
There are two participation options:
- $200 – This is the cost for a full page advertisement featuring your business’ offer, program details logo and contact information
- $300 plus a prize valued at $50 – This price gets a full page advertisement offer (a) and the opportunity to become one of the featured “businesses of the week” for summer weekly challenges
As a member business, you must present a “deal” for the holder. This could be a percentage off a camp or program registration, a one-time free pass or some other discounted offer. The 2017 Journal is valid from March 2017 – March 31, 2018. Books are available for purchase online, at Aevi Spa Salon Boutique (1580 Taylor Avenue), Swimming Matters (located at 1389 Grant Avenue) and at The Yoga Barre (located at 6640 Roblin Blvd).
