Cycling in Manitoba has hit an all time high. With families staying home, they are hitting the roads and trails with the bikes. Why not take it to the next level with Cycling Manitoba? They offer Up Virtual Races and will soon be offering programming to solo rides on Strava and some Road Time trials later in the summer.
They are also developing a race protocol for the Kids of Mud program, Ages 5 – 16. Club riding is getting back at it while ensuring physical distancing. For more information about the incredible programs for your and your family with Cycling Manitoba, see here.
Softball Manitoba is back in action! This is such a great sport with terrific programs for girls. Find out more about what they have for YOU this summer here.
Rowing is back on the water and looking to make this year their best year yet. If you want to try a fast-paced sport that will challenge you and help you grow, rowing is the one! For more information about their summer programming and how YOU can be rowing this summer, see here.
While the pools are quite back to regular swimming and artistic swimming just yet, Aquatica Synchro has TONS to offer in the meantime. They are staying connected with their athletes through it all growing the community of girls in a big way, and providing support for them emotionally as they navigate this different world. Their at home training programs are a ton of fun, with each group having a member of the national team meet with them at least once! So cool!
Their Zoom sessions are focusing on synchro specific skills, strength, and flexibility and anyone eleven and up can join. Follow them on IG to see what all the fun is about! They also have Aquatica in the Park happening once a week for 2 hours to work on cardio, coordination, flexibility and again some synchro specific skills. Athletes are splitting by age/ability and this is open to their current athletes (recreation, competitive and masters), and if there are athletes from similar sports that want to join or that plan on joining synchro once things reopen then they are welcome as well! Spaces is limited to ensure we are meeting social distancing requirements so registration ahead of time is mandatory.
For more information or to register for any of their fun programs, see here.
